Counter-Strike is team-based, online, first-person shooter which requires players work together to complete objectives and defeat the opposing team. In any given map, players opt to play as either a terrorist or counter terrorist. The group player joins then determines what objectives will requirement to be complete in the match.
The Xbox edition of Counter-Strike features the two most popular gameplay modes from the PC game: Bomb Defusal and Hostage Rescue. In Bomb Defusal, the terrorists staleness bomb digit of two locations on the map, while the counterterrorists staleness work quickly to distribute the bomb after it's planted. Hostage Rescue, on the other hand, requires the counterterrorists to locate and escort hostages to an extraction point. And in either gameplay mode, the round can also be ended if digit aggroup eliminates all members of the opposition.
Coordinate attacks using Xbox Live's headset.
And it plays enthusiastic on Xbox Live, too -- almost no lag, and generous players can opt to host a server on their Xbox. While the PC edition of Counter-Strike has supported voice chat for some time now, it becomes a much more important conception of gameplay when you realize, thanks to Xbox Live, that everyone playing has a headset. In the comparatively brief time I've played on the Xbox, there have been more strategic attacks than I've ever experienced CS on PC. This apparently makes the online experience more enjoyable, because when the aggroup works together, the chances of winning increase substantially. All these elements combine to build a highly enjoyable multiplayer experience that is no doubt digit of the best available on Xbox Live.
